Book Discussion Group Starting
As you may know, Cimarron Presbytery has begun the hard work of dismantling racism by learning together during Presbytery meetings, participating in book studies together, and engaging with the newly formed Network for Dismantling Racism through Synod of the Sun. As a member of Cimarron Presbytery and Synod of the Sun, you are invited to join us for a book study to begin the new year. Beginning in January 2021, we will study Where Do We Go From Here by Martin Luther King, Jr. In this final work from MLK, Jr., he lays out his thoughts, plans, and dreams for America's future, including the need for better jobs, higher wages, decent housing, and quality education. With a universal message of hope that continues to resonate, King demanded an end to global suffering, asserting that humankind - for the first time - has the resources and technology to eradicate poverty.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: With immense sadness The Dwight Presbyterian Mission Board of Directors has voted to suspend all operations at the Dwight Mission Camp and Conference Center effective December 15, 2019. In the midst of diligent work, prayers, and discernment we continue to pursue the best options for the facility with hopes to develop a model to extend the legacy to future generations. In the interim we recommend campers seek out opportunities for camp and other connectional ministries through their church and Presbytery for 2021. We ask for our Community's continued prayers in these trying times. Questions or comments can be addressed to DwightMissionBoard@gmail.com.
